Abstract
TRIBALOY T-800 consists of a hard, intermetallic phase in a softer, cobalt-base alloy matrix. It can be cast or hardfaced. As alloy powder it can be plasma sprayed or blended with other powders for P/M (Powder Metallurgy) processing. It has excellent resistance to crevice corrosion and it is less susceptible to stress-corrosion cracking than the austenitic stainless steels. T-800 combines outstanding resistance to corrosion and wear in numerous commercial environments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and compressive strength as well as fracture toughness and fatigue.
