Type HA is an air-hardening iron-chromium-molybdenum alloy containing sufficient chromium to provide good resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to about 1200 F. Castings of type HA alloy are used widely in oil refinery service and in the glass industry. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-301.
