ALUMINUM 2017 is an age-hardenable wrought alloy of medium strength and ductility. Its service temperature is below 212 F. It is used for general engineering applications, such as transportation equipment, machine parts and fittings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue.
