Abstract
COPPER Alloy No. 425 is a copper-zinc-tin alloy suitable for electrical switches and springs, fuse and pen clips, and weather stripping. It can be cold worked readily by convectional processes. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Cu-280. Producer or source: Brass mills.
