Abstract

PYROMET 625 is a nonmagnetic alloy with outstanding strength and toughness from cryogenic temperatures to 2000 F. It has excellent fatigue strength and stress-corrosion-cracking resistance to chloride ions. Some typical applications are heat shields, chemical plant hardware and special seawater applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-212. Producer or source: Carpenter Technology Corporation.
