CARPENTER TGS is a multipurpose oil-hardening, non-deforming carburizing steel. It is basically a free-machining type of carburizing steel. It is produced and processed to a high level of cleanliness and uniformity so that it can be used for tools. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as deformation.
