FERRO-TIC M-6 is comprised of ultra-hard titanium carbide grains dispersed through a matrix of age-hardenable martensitic steel. There are three grades: regular M-6 and M-6A and M-6B. The latter two have increased carbide which gives greater hardness at some sacrifice in machinability'. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: TS-266.
