Abstract
Cu-Ni 55-45 Alloy is an electrical-resistance alloy suitable for operation at temperatures up to about 930 F. It has a low temperature coefficient of resistivity and good resistance to corrosion. In thermocouples it can be used up to 1600 F. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-274. Producer or source: Electrical resistance and thermocouple alloy producers.
