Abstract
ALUMINUM 5050 is a wrought, non-heat treatable aluminum alloy of excellent workability and high corrosion resistance. (This alloy is covered under its old designation, ALUMINUM 50S, in Alloy Digest Al-6, March 1953.) This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-206. Producer or source: Various aluminum companies.
