PYROMET 102 is a nonmagnetic, nickel-chromium base alloy which is solid solution strengthened by the refractory metals niobium, tungsten and molybdenum. It possesses excellent corrosion properties, strength, ductility, toughness and structural stability. It is used as tubing and piping for steam and gas turbines, rocket engines, heat shields, furnace hardware, chemical plant hardware and in sea water environments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-198. Producer or source: Carpenter Technology Corporation.
