CRYONIC 5 is a 5% nickel-0.50% manganese-0.25% molybdenum steel designed and specially heat treated for use in storage vessels at 275 F or lower. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-276.
