THERMOLD H13 (formerly Thermold AV) is an air-hardening hot-work tool steel having good wear resistance and hot hardness at elevated temperature. Uniforged Rounds of THERMOLD H13 were developed especially for critically stressed extrusion tools and other hot-work tooling applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
