CARPENTER STAINLESS No. 404 is a hardenable, weldable, fully martensitic alloy for use in highly stressed parts at temperatures up to 1050 F. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
