Abstract
ALLEGHENY TYPE 211 is a copper-bearing, austenitic, chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel with a low work-hardening rate. It is used for many deep-drawing applications, such as automotive trim, and broiler pans, mixing bowls, sinks, and door hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-266. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation.
