Abstract
CRUCIBLE A-55 is the general purpose grade of titanium for applications requiring moderate to severe forming. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive, shear, and bearing strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ti-62. Producer or source: Crucible Specialty Metals Division, Colt Industries.
