Abstract

JS700 is a high nickel-chromium-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel that was developed to combat the extreme corrosive conditions in wet phosphoric acid plants. It also exhibits low susceptibility to stress-corrosion cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-256. Producer or source: Jessop Steel Company.
