CYCLOPS 17A Metal is a nickel-chromium austenitic alloy steel intended for uses where good general corrosion resisting, heat resisting and non-magnetic properties are of importance. It shows good resistance to scaling at temperatures up to 1500 F and has excellent physical properties and fatigue endurance at elevated temperatures. This grade is especially adapted for resistance against sour crude oils. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-8. Producer or source: Cyclops Corporation.
