CROMOVAN is a high production tool and die steel of the high-carbon, high-chromium type. It is deep hardening, non-deforming, and has high resistance to wear and compression. It also has non-scaling properties and is somewhat corrosion resistant. This datasheet provides information on composition, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
