SICROMO 7M is a low carbon, 7% chromium alloy steel possessing high temperature properties and high resistance to attack by hot petroleum products. It is suggested as a substitute for the 5% chromium type steels for those applications in which a greater resistance is required to corrosion by hot petroleum products and when a greater load-carrying ability is desired. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-7.
