Abstract
Type CF-8C is an iron-chromium-nickel-columbium corrosion resistant casting alloy especially useful for field welding, or for service involving long exposure to elevated temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-235. Producer or source: Stainless steel foundries.
