ALLEGHENY LUDLUM TYPE 446 is a corrosion and heat resisting steel with the maximum chromium content. It is used principally for the manufacture of parts that must resist high temperature service without scaling. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep.
