Abstract
AISI No. 635 is a transformation and a precipitation hardening stainless steel providing a combination of a high degree of corrosion resistance with high strength and hardness. It is recommended for valves, bearings, and chemical and food processing equipment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-222. Producer or source: Stainless steel mills.
