CROMO-W is a general purpose hot work tool and die steel having excellent resistance to wear, shock, and drastic changes in temperature. It is recommended for hot shear blades, forging and bolt heading dies, punches and other types of hot work tools. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
