HOWMET No. 3 is a cobalt-base alloy having high hardness and compressive strength, high heat and corrosion resistance, along with excellent abrasion and wear resistance. It is recommended for bushings, scrapers, valve parts, and other machinery components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
