Abstract
AISI type H11 is a 5% chromium-molybdenum air hardening, hot work tool and die steel recommended for applications requiring a high degree of toughness in the temperature range of 400-1000 F. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and bearing strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: TS-201. Producer or source: Tool steel mills.
