ASARCO Z.D.C. No. 7 is a zinc die casting alloy which will be found particularly helpful in casting relatively large, complicated shapes and intricate parts which are not free to shrink in the dies because of cores, slides, etc. and require a hardware finish for subsequent plating or organic finishes. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness.
