AISI Type H13 is an air-hardening hot work tool and die steel having a high resistance to heat checking and erosive action. It has good wear resistance and hot hardness. It is recommended for die casting and extrusion dies. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep.
