Abstract
MAR-M Alloy 509 is a vacuum melted, cobalt-base alloy having high strength, low creep rates, and resistance to oxidation and thermal shock. It is recommended for aircraft and industrial gas turbine applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Co-54. Producer or source: Martin Metals Division, Martin Marietta Corporation.
