Abstract

Brush Alloy M220C is a betyllium-nickel casting alloy that responds to an age-hardening heat treatment and is characterized by high strength thermal conductivity combined with excellent corrosion, oxidation and wear resistance. It is recommended for mold tooling in the glass industries. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-114. Producer or source: Brush Beryllium Company.
