Abstract
Magnesium HM331A is a magnesium-thorium alloy recommended for elevated temperature service (600-850 F) in aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive, shear, and bearing strength as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Mg-59.
