Abstract
Aluminum 7039 is a wrought, heat treatable alloy having good weldability and good corrosion resistance combined with high strength. It is recommended for cryogenic applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive, shear, and bearing strength as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on low temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-154. Producer or source: Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation.
