VANADIUM Type H is a high carbon, chromium-vanadium alloy steel of the water-hardening or oil-hardening type having high wear resistance combined with toughness. It has good depth hardenability when water hardened. It is recommended for punches, dies, cutters, burnishing tools, caulking tools and similar cold work applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: TS-176. Producer or source: Vanadium Alloys Steel Company.
