Abstract
Hi-Man is an intermediate manganese copper-bearing steel with high strength and resistance to abrasion and fatigue. It combines desirable atmospheric corrosion resistance with satisfactory welding properties. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: CS-24. Producer or source: Inland Steel Company.
