PROJECT 70 is a modified Type 416 corrosion resistant steel offering improved machinability. It is recommended for automatic screw machine operations where longer tool life results in more productive machine time. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
