Marvac 18 and Marvac 18A are vacuum consumable electrode melted low carbon, iron base alloys capable of nominal yield strengths of 250,000 and 280,000 psi respectively, coupled with excellent toughness and ductility. Both of the alloys respond to a managing heat treatment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
