AISI No. 615 is a hardenable chromium-nickel-tungsten martensitic corrosion resistant steel used primarily at temperatures up to 1050 F. It is used for compressor blades, vanes, discs, and other gas turbine engine components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-175.
