Abstract
AIRKOOL-V is a high-carbon, high-vanadium tool steel with chromium, tungsten and molybdenum additions. It is designed to give excellent performance on applications involving extreme abrasive wear. It is an air hardening steel. This datasheet provides information on composition and hardness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: TS-171.
