Abstract
Allegheny Metal AM-363 is a low-cost maraging, stainless, structural alloy steel. It is recommended for structural framework in railroad cars and truck bodies. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-186. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation.
