Abstract
Croloy 12 Al is a heat and corrosion resisting steel which is non-hardenable by heat treatment. It has good oxidation resistance up to 1250 F. The alloy has found considerable use in chemical installation and petroleum refineries because of its good oxidation and corrosion resistance and its good weldability. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-155. Producer or source: Babcock & Wilcox Company.
