Abstract
HYLITE 40 is a titanium-aluminum-manganese alloy of high strength with excellent properties as forgings and bar stock. It is recommended for compressor dises and blades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ti-34. Producer or source: Jessop-Saville Ltd, Brightside Works.
