Abstract
INCONEL Alloy 721 is a high-strength, high-temperature nickel-base alloy responding to age hardening for maximum properties. It is highly resistant to chemical corrosion and oxidation. Its creep rate is low under high stresses at 1200-1500 F. It is recommended for use as valves in internal combustion engines. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-80. Producer or source: Huntington Alloy Products Division, An INCO Company.
