Abstract
ALLEGHENY LUDLUM ALLOY S-816 is a high heat and corrosion resistant alloy, responding to age-hardening heat treatment. It has high mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, and is oxidation and corrosion resistant. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Co-3. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation. Originally published August 1953, revised April 1962.
