Abstract

AISI 94B30 is a mild carbon, nickel-chromium-molybdenum-boron alloy steel having good hardenability, toughness, and shock resistance for heavy duty service. AISI 94B30H is the corresponding H-Steel which has specified hardenability limits with some modification of chemical ranges. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-118. Producer or source: United States Steel Corporation.
