ALLEGHENY B-47 is a chromium, tungsten, cobalt, vanadium hot work steel that has excellent resistance to shock and abrasion at elevated temperatures. It has good hot hardness. This datasheet provides information on composition, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness.
